When the clogged sink wasn't responding like we needed it to the first day they immediately send another person the second day.
And that was Nathan, 'Nate'.
And what an angel he was for my family because I wasn't there at the time to handle relaying the issues except through my daughter. He was very professional and sensitive to everybody including my mother-in-law who's 89 years old and was very impressed and inspired by him. And this might not seem like it has anything to do with plumbing but maybe it does.
The sink is running fine and haven't had a problem since. And we also got educated on what the problem might be so we can handle it better. Thank you. And thank you for maintaining a company that can keep quality people working for them!

Derrek arrived on time and saw my problem , he immediately knew what was causing this water leak. He had the part needed on his truck and installing this part was a challenge however Derrek was able to get the job done.

Mini split installation was difficult but this team did an amazing job! Well worth the cost of service. Izaiah is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything and make sure the job is completed well.

The job took longer than expected, however, Omar remained positive and stayed until the task was finished. My husband and I are very pleased with the quality of his work. Jackson from Mac5 came out to address a problem with a circuit that caused an outage in 4 areas in my house. Today is the third day I have been living without power. I called Mac5 this morning and Jackson arrived promptly at my home. He is professional and courteous. After a brief diagnosis, Jackson was able to identify the area at the root cause of my outage. He offered me options for resolution including the most cost effective one. While here Jackson inspected other areas of concern, grounding and a higher voltage surge protector.. I highly recommend Jackson to address homeowners electrical needs. Mac5 also handles plumbing, AC, air handlers and water heaters. I believe I have found one stop shopping for all home maintenance needs!

Second time using Mac 5. First time was to install a new dishwasher and sink drain. Excellent experience!
Second time was to have a technician come by to repair the drain because it had a leak. Plumber was very polite and quick with service and explained the problem. Next technician was the AC technician. I used the $59 AC maintenance deal. Josh arrived on time and explained exactly what he was going to be doing. Showed him both units and left him to do his work. Finished within 30 minutes and explained everything that he did and told us our unit was in really good condition. He explained the neighbors program collected payment and was on his way.
Another excellent service from the team at MAC 5. If you need anything repaired in your home MAC 5 has a technician for that.

I am very happy and satisfied with the service provided by the technician, Matt; he arrived on time, assessed my situation, and gave me an estimate. Matt explained the need to install a grounding rod at my home. He installed the grounding rod because it safely diverts excess electricity from power surges or lightning strikes, thereby protecting my appliances and preventing electric shocks. This was a necessary step to protect both myself and my home. Thank you, Matt, for your advice.

I highly recommend MAC 5 Services for all your electrical needs. Jackson recently installed a Level 2 EV charger at our home, and his level of expertise and professionalism was outstanding. He conducted a thorough assessment before beginning, explaining exactly what was required—including upgrading to the specific amperage needed—and handled the entire purchase and installation process seamlessly.

During his visit, Jackson also performed a voltage review of our breaker box and discovered an issue with high readings, which was concerning given that our home is newly constructed. He also inspected our surge protective device and provided helpful insights on why the builder-installed option might not be sufficient to prevent damage to our home’s electronics and vehicles. I truly appreciate his transparency and detailed advice. We plan to have Jackson return soon to resolve these electrical concerns, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Mac 5 Services, especially Derrick the Plumber. After having another company come out and supposedly resolve a plumbing issue, I noticed that my water pressure was still fluctuating. Something just didn’t seem right, so I contacted Mac 5 Services for another opinion—and I am extremely thankful that I did.

Derrik came out to assess the work that had previously been completed and immediately took the time to actually investigate what was going on rather than simply assuming the original problem had been fixed. He noticed that my water meter was still running, which indicated there was an active leak somewhere. After thoroughly checking everything, Derrik identified the true source of the problem: a leaking gasket in the outside bathroom.

What was especially upsetting was learning that the actual repair was significantly less expensive than the work I had already paid the previous company to perform. Derrick was familiar with the company that had done the original work and shared concerns based on his familiarity with their practices, particularly involving vulnerable customers. After my own experience, I was incredibly grateful to have someone take the time to carefully assess the situation and explain what was actually happening.

Derrik was professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and, most importantly, honest. He didn’t try to upsell me or turn a relatively inexpensive repair into a major plumbing project. He simply found the real problem and made sure I understood what needed to be done.

It is incredibly reassuring to find a plumber who genuinely looks out for the customer. Mac 5 Services has absolutely earned my trust and my future business. If you are looking for someone who will be straightforward with you, investigate the problem properly, and treat you with respect, I highly recommend asking for Derrik. This was truly a 5-star experience from beginning to end!

We lost power back in August and found out our fuse box and meter box were badly damaged and needed to be fully replaced. On the day of service, Ivan from Mac5 came out for the install. He was early, which was perfect since he wanted to get as much prep time before FPL came out. He communicated with us every step he needed to do before the start of work, answered every question my sister had for him, and worked through the whole day into the evening to get the job done. Being as it's an older house, he had come across a couple issues but navigated it so well and made sure the job was done properly. He was very respectful of the property and very kind to my family, we even exchanged a few laughs and stories, I would highly recommend him for any electrical service.

After diagnosing a leak that affected one of our walls, Mac 5 performed a full repiping of our old home, due to our pipes being corroded and leading to mutile leaks in a period of months. They worked very fast and performed a minimal number of holes in the drywalls. Jack, our plumber, was very professional and friendly and took great care of cleaning the work areas before he left. We will certainly use Mac5 Services again.

I’ve had a few people come to my house for AC maintenance. They all were pro their company they work for. But Michael came today and I’ve never been treaded like a friend. Michael was not only VERY professional on doing all the maintenance, but he related to me like someone who had my beat interest at hand. I was like WOW!. I felt so comfortable to but the maintenance plan because i want Michael to come and treat my AC like he did today.

Out of all the people that i have come to my house to check AC or other appliances, i have never trusted someone like Mike. OMG, he made me feel so comfortable and Like I was talking to a family member who had my best interest in mind. Never seen one person like that before.

Ryan was great to work with. He kept me updated and fixed the issues I wanted to be dealt with the same day. I will be using Mac5 for many services in the future, especially cause they are helpful with pricing, I’d also ask for Ryan for plumbing services!

He was very professional, very willing to answer all of my questions, careful with the cleanliness and made very good analysis of areas that needed improvement and safety standards according to code. Once again. MAC5 has come through with excellent service. Michael Campion and Malcom made a fantastic work effort with the maintenance of our A/C system on September 17th in the morning. I have never, and I mean NEVER had such a thorough maintenance on our A/C system. They went through every segment and were nice enough to answer all of my questions, plus explain everything they were looking at with a friendly and professional attitude. They obviously knew the system and made suggestions for the future maintenance to extend the life of the unit. I intend to ask for them specifically when my next service comes due. I would highly recommend MAC5 fora ny A/C system work.

Our experience with Joe at MAC5 was above and beyond what we would have expected. We had problems with our plumbing and Joe assessed the issues and provided us with explanations for correcting the problems. Joe was very professional, explained everything in a way that we could understand, answered all of our questions and took great care with everything he did. Needed a hot water heater replaced, Rob and Jim showed, gave me all the information I needed above what I already knew to make an informed decision, then got me fixed up. As a bonus, they helped me locate my water cut-off, which had been long buried by a previous homeowner. They were great, respectful, and efficient!

Doug always take the time to explain problems and the options I have to take care of the issues that exist. Always pleasant and professional. dh

SUPER efficient and productive. We were quoted a 1-2 day completion time for our repiping project and Clinton and Anthony arrived first thing in the morning and were done by 3pm on a Friday.

Ian came a week later to do a new electrical panel and install a generator. Finished a couple hours earlier than quoted!

Update: called Mac5 again recently for a blown fuse and a couple other projects. They came out same day and fixed everything up, while explaining what was happening. Another great experience!

Izaiah and Travis were both awesome. They went above and beyond making sure that I was satisfied with their work taking old a/c unit out and replaced with brand new a/c heater comb. I will gladly recommend Izaiah and Mac 5 to any one that needs a service that is provided by Mac 5.

Our technician, Izaiyah, was phenomenal. Very hard working and professional. He really cared about doing a great job and that showed in the work he did for us while installing new HVAC ducts. Izaiyah went out of his way to make sure we were happy with his service, so much so that I mentioned to him that he should get a raise.

Sebastian was very knowledgeable and found the problem. He arrived on time, dressed appropriately and was kind and well mannered. He us an asset to your company.

Can’t recommend them enough! Our unit broke days before our baby was due. We talked to multiple people at the company and they really came together to help us as best as possible. They were able to schedule us when we really needed it at a great price. Izaiah was the best tech! He spent so much time making sure everything was covered end to end, was very professional and great to work with! They even did a spotless job cleaning everything after. We had a pleasure of having Matt coming out to my house to replace a GFIC Plug. While we had problems locating the breaker, Matt took the time to make sure to do a full electrical inspection, including the ground lines outside the house also gave me some helpful suggestions the things that need servicing soon. This is all done at a very reasonable price and Matt skill certainly showed as he had to take his time to find the power to turn off. That area of the house. Went online to set up a consultation visit for the installation of 2 electrical outlets in my home. To my surprise, there was a same day opportunity for a technician to evaluate my situation. Sebastian arrived in less than an hour from the time I completed the online request. He was professional, courteous, friendly, and provided several options for my situation. Overall, it was a great first impression. At the time of this review, I’m in the process of weighing the pros and cons of the various options.
